This event is for intermediate players who know the rules of pickleball and are in rated 3.0+ or higher on DUPR.

NOTE: You must be an intermediate player to attend this event. This means knowing the rules of pickleball and being 3.0+ on DUPR. This criteria is enforced and there are no refunds to this event.

Assumption of Risk and Agreement - Participation Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in programs, events, or activities organized by Capital City Pickleball LLC (“Company”), I, the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree to the following:

1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I understand and acknowledge that participating in pickleball events and related physical activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Severe injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures, paralysis, or death
Collisions with other participants, equipment, or facilities
Environmental risks, such as weather conditions and slippery surfaces
Risks associated with traveling to and from event locations
I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, including those arising from the negligence of Capital City Pickleball LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, agents, or event hosts.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability
I, for myself, and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless Capital City Pickleball LLC and its affiliates, agents, employees, contractors, event hosts, sponsors, and the owners of facilities where events are held (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of my participation in these activities.

This includes, but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, illness, property damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

3. Compliance with Rules
I agree to comply with all event rules, facility regulations, and instructions provided by Capital City Pickleball LLC staff or representatives.

If I observe any significant hazards during my participation, I agree to remove myself from the activity and notify an official immediately.
I understand that failure to comply with these rules may result in my removal from the event without refund.
4. Medical Fitness and Treatment
I certify that I am physically fit to participate in activities organized by Capital City Pickleball LLC and have no medical conditions that would pose a risk to myself or others.
I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury or illness during any activity.
I release the Released Parties from any claims related to such medical treatment.
5. Supervision of Minors
If I am registering a minor (under 18 years old), I agree to supervise the minor and accept all terms of this Agreement on their behalf. I understand that minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

6. Media Release
I grant Capital City Pickleball LLC permission to use photographs, videos, or recordings taken of me during events for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, advertising, and website content, without compensation.

7. Indemnity
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from my participation in events or activities or my actions during these events.

8. Damages
I accept responsibility for any damages I cause to facilities, equipment, or property while participating in activities organized by Capital City Pickleball LLC.

9. Lost or Stolen Property
I understand that Capital City Pickleball LLC is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal disputes arising from participation in events shall be resolved exclusively in Travis County, Texas.

11. Assumption of COVID-19 and Communicable Disease Risks
I understand that participation in activities may expose me to communicable diseases, including COVID-19. I assume all risks related to such exposure and release the Released Parties from any liability associated with illness or infection.

12. Signature
I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT. I SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY AND WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.

Capital City x Pickleball Kingdom DUPR Ladder

Join us every Saturday from 10am-12pm December - January for an exclusive DUPR Ladder competition against the best pickleballers around! Each week you will have rotating partners and games will be recorded into DUPR while challenging different levels of players on skill-based courts.

Pickleball Kingdom is located in Pflugerville, TX with three indoor courts and cameras that you can use to play back gameplay! They will be expanding with eight more courts to level up their facility and your pickleball experience!

Notice: You must have a valid DUPR account and signed Pickleball Kingdom waiver to participate in this event.

Interested in getting a DUPR rating or just want some competitive games of pickleball? Join us at Waterloo Pickleball for our DUPR Night! We will be hosting intermediate gameplay from 7-9pm for those who are rated between 3.0-3.9 on DUPR. If you don't have a DUPR rating, you can self-rate yourself and your games will be logged on the DUPR app so you can get a rating! Come on out for a fun and competitive scene!
