The response to this year’s Summer Send Off has been incredible. With demand continuing to grow, **BLKAZRUN + Familiar Faces made the decision together to move the event to a larger venue** — giving us the space to deliver the full experience we envisioned for our community.

SUMMER SEND OFF — ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & EVENT WAIVER

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY PURCHASING A TICKET, REGISTERING FOR, ENTERING, OR PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

I voluntarily choose to attend and/or participate in the BLKAZRUN x Familiar Faces Summer Send Off (“Event”), including any related activities occurring at Lylo Swim Club, Rise Uptown Hotel, and associated Event areas.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I understand that attendance and participation may involve inherent and other risks, including but not limited to swimming and pool-related activities, wet or slippery surfaces, physical exercise, yoga, Pilates, games and recreational activities, dancing, crowds, exposure to weather and heat, food and beverages, alcohol consumption, interactions with other attendees, transportation, equipment, and other conditions associated with a large public event. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks to the fullest extent permitted by law.

RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY: To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, I release and agree not to sue BLKAZRUN, Familiar Faces, their respective owners, organizers, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, instructors, DJs, performers, affiliates, agents and representatives, together with the Event venues and their respective owners, operators, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”), for claims arising from my attendance at or participation in the Event, including claims involving personal injury, illness, property damage, loss, theft, or death, including claims arising from the ordinary negligence of a Released Party, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be waived.

HEALTH & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: I understand that certain portions of the Event may involve physical activity. I am responsible for determining whether I am physically capable of participating and for discontinuing participation if I experience pain, dizziness, illness, or other symptoms. Event organizers and instructors are not providing medical advice or medical treatment.

POOL & WATER ACTIVITIES: I voluntarily assume all risks associated with entering or being near pools and other water areas. I agree to comply with all posted rules, venue requirements, lifeguard instructions, and Event staff directions.

ALCOHOL: I understand this is a 21+ event and that alcoholic beverages may be available. I accept full responsibility for my decision to consume alcohol and for my conduct and safety. I agree not to operate a vehicle while impaired and acknowledge that Event organizers do not assume responsibility for my transportation to or from the Event.

PERSONAL PROPERTY: I am solely responsible for my personal belongings. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged property to the fullest extent permitted by law.

EVENT RULES & REMOVAL: I agree to comply with all Event and venue policies, including the prohibition of smoking, outside food or beverages, dangerous or illegal activity, and disorderly conduct. Event management and venue security reserve the right to deny entry or remove any attendee whose conduct violates Event or venue policies or threatens the safety or enjoyment of others, subject to applicable law. Removal for violation of Event policies may occur without refund.

PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE: I understand that photography, video, and audio recording may occur throughout the Event. To the extent permitted by law, I grant the Event organizers permission to photograph, film, and record me in connection with the Event and to use such recordings for legitimate promotional, advertising, social media, archival, and commercial purposes without additional compensation. Where legally required, additional consent will be obtained.

THIRD-PARTY ACTIVITIES & VENDORS: I understand that vendors, instructors, performers, sponsors, food and beverage providers, and other third parties may independently provide products, services, or activities at the Event. Their participation does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or guarantee by the Event organizers.

INDEMNIFICATION: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from third-party claims, damages, or expenses arising directly from my own unlawful or wrongful conduct at the Event.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE: If I become injured or ill and am unable to provide instructions, I authorize Event personnel to contact emergency medical services when reasonably necessary. I understand that I am responsible for medical expenses incurred on my behalf to the extent permitted by law.

NO REFUNDS / EVENT CHANGES: Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated by the Event organizer, ticket purchases are final. Event programming, performers, schedules, activities, and amenities may be modified when reasonably necessary.

SEVERABILITY & GOVERNING LAW: If any provision of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

BY PURCHASING A TICKET AND/OR ATTENDING THE EVENT, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND THAT IT AFFECTS MY LEGAL RIGHTS, VOLUNTARILY ASSUME THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE EVENT, AND AGREE TO THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
