Running

PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I acknowledge that participation in any running event or activity organized by [Run Club Name] (the “Organizer”) is voluntary and involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to: physical exertion, dehydration, falls, collisions, traffic hazards, heat exhaustion, and other potential injuries or health complications.

By signing this waiver, I agree to the following:
	1.	Assumption of Risk
I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with my participation in this run/event, including any injuries, illness, or damage that may result.
	2.	Release of Liability
I release and discharge [Run Club Name], its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, venue partners, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to my participation.
	3.	Medical Responsibility
I certify that I am physically fit and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I am solely responsible for my own health and safety during the event.
	4.	Photo & Media Release
I grant permission to the Organizer to use any photos, video, or media taken of me during the event for promotional purposes.
	5.	Rules & Behavior
I agree to follow all rules and directions provided by the Organizer and to act in a manner that is safe and respectful to others.
	6.	Minors (if applicable)
If signing for a minor, I affirm that I am their legal guardian and consent to their participation under the terms of this waiver.
