STRENGTH IN THE CITY Health + Wellness Festival is coming back to Chicago exactly where we were last year - Theater on the Lake. Join us for a day committed to wellness and community.

You don't want to miss this festival!

**FULL FESTIVAL DETAILS**
Full day of health and wellness classes from yoga and HIIT classes, to dance and meditation, not to mention workshops and networking and everything in between. Explore a variety of classes, exciting talent to accompany the instructors, local vendors to shop, recovery services to enhance your day and a whole lot of energy to light your fire!

This event was created to curate a space for people to move and connect with their community while highlighting local wellness professionals. We firmly believe that movement, mindfulness and connection will strengthen individuals who will be able to in turn strengthen their communities.

**WHAT ABOUT THE RUN/WALK??**
At 8:30am Body Art Run Club will be leading a free community 5k run and 2 mile walk. All speeds/ability levels invited to participate! RSVP for the walk/run for free and receive details about it leading up to the event. This run/walk is included in all festival tickets purchased as well.&#x20;

🕒 Event Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (Doors open at 8:30 am)

🏃🏿‍♀️ Community run/walk: 8:30am departure

👤 Age requirement: All ages are welcome!

📍 Location: Theater on the Lake

🚗 Limited street parking available on Cannon Dr. Zoo parking lot available for a fee.

A portion of the tickets sales will be donated to **STRENGTH IN THE CITY Foundation (SITCF)**. Our foundation's mission is to bring accessible health and wellness resources to the general public and under-resourced communities.

GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER & PHOTO RELEASE

By participating in the STRENGTH IN THE CITY Health & Wellness Festival (the “Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in the Event, including but not limited to physical activities, exercise, fitness classes, and wellness-related sessions, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, allergic reactions, and property loss or damage. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of injury, illness, or damage arising from my participation.

Release and Waiver of Liability

I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless STRENGTH IN THE CITY, its organizers, affiliates, sponsors, vendors, instructors, volunteers, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, costs, expenses, and damages for personal injury, illness (including but not limited to COVID-19 or any other communicable diseases), death, or property damage arising from my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Medical Treatment Authorization

I consent to receive medical treatment in the event of an injury, accident, or illness during the Event and understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Compliance with Event Rules

I agree to follow all Event rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Event organizers, staff, and vendors. I acknowledge that failure to comply may result in my removal from the Event without a refund.

Photo & Video Release

I acknowledge and agree that STRENGTH IN THE CITY and its affiliates may record, photograph, or otherwise capture my participation in the Event. I grant STRENGTH IN THE CITY and its designees an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from my image, likeness, voice, and statements for promotional, marketing, advertising, and other business purposes in any media now known or later developed, without compensation or further approval.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from my participation in the Event.

Acknowledgment of Understanding

I have read and fully understand this Waiver & Release of Liability and Photo Release Agreement. By checking the box below and signing this document, I acknowledge that I voluntarily agree to these terms and that I am waiving certain legal rights.

I agree to the terms and conditions outlined above when purchasing a ticket and checking the box.

By purchasing this ticket to this event, I accept this waiver and certify that I am either the participant or the legal guardian of the minor participant and have the authority to agree to this agreement.

This RSVP is for the 8:30am community run/walk ONLY. By signing up you will receive run/walk details. This does NOT include entry into the festival for any classes.

GA ticket gives you access to all classes from 9am-3pm, dj sets, vendors and the run/walk. 

The VIP ticket includes everything in GA PLUS a Yeti cup, baked bread from Better Bakes, free meal on site from Prepped and Plated, plus over $200 in discounts from our partners.
