Waiver and Release of Liability:
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Y’all Pickle League ("League"), I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk – I understand and acknowledge that pickleball is a physically demanding sport that involves risks including, but not limited to, falls, collisions, injuries from equipment, and the potential for serious bodily harm. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the League.
Release of Liability – I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and discharge Y’all Pickle league organizers, event sponsors, facility owners, and any affiliated entities (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the League, including those caused by negligence of the Released Parties.
Medical Treatment Authorization – I authorize the League and its representatives to secure medical treatment on my behalf in the event of an injury or medical emergency and agree to assume all financial responsibility for such treatment.
Fitness to Participate – I certify that I am physically able to participate in this League and have no medical conditions that would prevent my participation in the League. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician before participating in physical activities.
Indemnification – I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, or costs, including attorney’s fees, arising from my participation in the League.
Photography & Media Release – I grant permission for the League to use photographs, videos, or other media of my participation for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.
Rules & Conduct – I agree to abide by all League rules and regulations and understand that failure to do so may result in my disqualification or removal from the League.
I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I VOLUNTARILY SIGN IT AND AGREE TO ITS TERMS.
