### **ASSUMPTION OF RISK**

By registering for and participating in *The Fastest MF in Austin* (the “Event”), I acknowledge that running, sprinting, and participating in athletic competitions involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, dehydration, heat-related illness, cardiac events, and other physical injuries that may result in serious harm or death. I voluntarily choose to participate, understanding and accepting all associated risks.

I further acknowledge that environmental conditions (such as weather, uneven surfaces, or track conditions) and the actions or negligence of other participants, spectators, volunteers, or staff may increase these risks.

### **RELEASE OF LIABILITY**

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby fully and forever release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless:

I consent to receive medical treatment deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the Event. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical costs incurred as a result of such treatment.

I affirm that I am physically capable and medically fit to participate in this Event. I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional and am solely responsible for determining my own fitness to compete.

I grant full permission to *The Fastest MF in Austin*, Adidas, and their affiliates to use photographs, videos, or other media recordings of me taken during the Event for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes in perpetuity, without compensation.

### **PERSONAL PROPERTY**

I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings at all times and that the Event, its organizers, sponsors, venue, and vendors are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

I understand that some activities, products, or services offered at the Event are provided by independent vendors and not by the Event organizers. I agree that my participation in or purchase of any such vendor offerings is at my own risk and subject to the vendor’s terms and conditions.

I agree to respect all participants, staff, and venue property. I understand that reckless or unsafe behavior may result in disqualification or removal from the Event without refund.
