Your body has a second circulatory system, and most people never learn how it works.

Your heart pumps your blood for you but no singular system pumps your lymph. It's 4 liters of fluid, moving back into your bloodstream every day, gets filtered through about 600 nodes along the way but moves only when you move. Muscle contraction, deep breathing, and pressure changes are the whole engine. Which means the drainage system responsible for clearing waste away from every cell you have and tissue surrounding your body, is entirely dependent on what you do with your body.

Join Jared Burch of Burch Bear Holistic Care at Optimyze North Phoenix for a three-hour evening built around that idea: learn the system, move it, then spend two hours on a recovery floor putting every one of those principles into practice.

5:00 – 5:30 · Lymph Education The plain-language version of how lymph moves, where it gets stuck, and why so many "detox" claims miss the mechanism entirely. No jargon, no lecture! Think highways, sewer systems, and bellows pumps, leaving you with a simple understanding of what is actually happening under your skin.

5:30 – 6:00 · Movement & Flow Hands-on drainage sequences you can repeat at home in 5-10 minutes. Breathwork, sequencing, direction of flow, and the common mistakes that make self-massage useless. Come as you are, this is gentle, floor-and-standing work, not a workout.

6:00 – 8:00 · Recovery Lab Two hours, full run of the Optimyze facility, with guidance on how each tool supports what you just learned:

Red light saunas

Warm hydrotherapy
Three cold plunges at three different temperatures
Use everything or use what you can within our two hour block. Jared, Jesse and the Optimyze team will be on the floor the whole time to answer questions and help you build a sequence that makes sense for your body.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Anyone curious about lymph, recovery, or why they feel puffy, sluggish, and stuck. Total beginners are the target audience here, no experience with any of these tools are required, and nothing here is strenuous.

WHAT TO BRING

Swimsuit (required for hydrotherapy and cold plunges)
Towel
Water bottle
Comfortable clothes you can move in for the first hour
Flip-flops or slides for the recovery floor
GOOD TO KNOW

Contrast therapy, hot saunas and cold plunges aren't right for everyone. If you're pregnant, have a cardiovascular condition, or are managing any medical issue, check with your provider first, and know that skipping the plunges still leaves you plenty to work with. Every tool on the floor is optional. Listen to your body over anything anyone tells you.
