Join us for our first Mental Miles Run Club long run in collaboration with Laserlab Heathrow!🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

We will kick things off at 8AM with a long run (including options for anywhere between 4-6 miles).

After the run, we will meet back at Laserlab for a morning of recovery, rehydration, & refuel.

Laserlab will be providing: compression boots for lower body recovery, access to their infrared saunas, a HYPERICE recovery station, and drinks + snacks to refuel with.

Mental Miles Run Club – Release of Liability & Media Consent Form

1. Release of Liability

Assumption of Risk

By participating in the activities, events, and gatherings organized by Mental Miles Run Club (hereinafter referred to as "the Club"), I understand and agree to the following:
I acknowledge that running, physical exercise, and related outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, dehydration, falls, weather conditions, and interaction with traffic or other pedestrians. I understand and accept these risks voluntarily and assume full responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, or loss that may arise from my participation in the Club's activities.

Release of Liability

I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and discharge Mental Miles Run Club, its organizers, volunteers, and affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise out of or relate to my participation in the Club's activities, including but not limited to claims arising from the negligence of the Club, its organizers, or volunteers.

Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Club and its organizers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from my participation or actions, including legal fees, associated with any claims made by others that I may have harmed during my participation in the Club.

Medical Consent

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician prior to participating in the Club’s activities. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the Club organizers to secure medical treatment deemed necessary and accept full responsibility for any associated costs.

Insurance and Voluntary Participation

I acknowledge that the Club does not provide health or accident insurance and that I am solely responsible for obtaining appropriate coverage. I understand that participation is voluntary and at my own discretion.

Age Certification

I certify that I am at least 18 years of age. If I am under 18, I understand that a parent or legal guardian must sign this waiver on my behalf for me to participate in any Mental Miles Run Club activities.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

2. Media Consent

Media Recording Permission

I grant Mental Miles Run Club the unrestricted right to capture my image, video, and voice during Club events for use in promotional, educational, and informational materials, including but not limited to social media, newsletters, websites, and marketing content.

Waiver of Rights

I understand that I will not receive any compensation or payment for my participation in such recordings, and I waive any right to inspect, approve, or be notified about the final materials, including any edits, alterations, or modifications, in which my likeness may appear.

Duration of Consent

I understand that this consent is perpetual, worldwide, and irrevocable unless otherwise revoked in writing. I may withdraw my consent for future use by contacting the Club, though this withdrawal will not affect the use of images or recordings previously made.

3. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in the Release of Liability and Media Consent Form. I am voluntarily acknowledging this waiver and accept all terms contained within.
