Join us on April 12th for Our Bodies are Not Trends: the thrifting, styling, and body liberation edition.

This unique experience combines thrifting, styling, body liberation, and community to celebrate self-love and self-expression through fashion.

The Counterculture will lead an hour-long “Our Bodies are Not Trends” workshop to unlearn societal beauty standards and the ever-elusive body ideals that are impossible to maintain. They’ll provide tools for body liberation, emphasizing the power of thrifting.

With a new mindset and these tools, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with our many stylists on-site to step out of your comfort zone and create your next favorite outfit.

Then, you’ll have exclusive access to shop and browse some of Chicago’s best size-inclusive vintage, resale, accessory, and body care products! Amongst a live DJ, a 45 minute Pilates movement class, with coffee, mocktails (by El Jefe CBD), and more.

Time: 11 am - 4 pm (Workshop & Styling Experience: 11 am - 12:30 pm, Market Open to the Public: 12 pm - 4 pm with RSVP)
