Enjoy a 4.8-mile canyon loop into the moss‑draped heart of Silver Falls State Park, starting from the Winter Falls trailhead. This area is often referred to as the “crown jewel” of the Oregon State Parks System. You’ll pass seven waterfalls — including the 134‑ft Winter Falls — all framed by green ferns, basalt cliffs, and filtered light. The variation of pace and terrain keeps it engaging but still immersive featuring stone stairs and creek crossings. Expect misty air, vibrant greens, and a bit of a climb, plus an optional dip in South Falls day-use river area.

Oregon state park pass or day use fee required. Passes can be purchased onsite.
