ATALA RUN CLUB
PARTICIPATION WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By participating in any ATALA Run Club (“ATALA”) activity, event, walk, run, or meetup, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that participation in ATALA activities is entirely voluntary. I choose to participate of my own free will.

2. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that outdoor activities, including but not limited to walking, running, hiking, and trail use, involve inherent risks. These risks may include uneven terrain, weather conditions, wildlife encounters, insects, water hazards, traffic, physical exertion, and other natural or man-made conditions.

I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

3. Personal Responsibility

I affirm that I am physically capable of participating in these activities and that I am responsible for my own health, safety, hydration, equipment, and decisions during any ATALA event.

I understand that routes, pace, and conditions may change at any time due to environmental factors.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge ATALA Run Club, its organizers, volunteers, hosts, and participants from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or death.

5. No Professional Services

I understand that ATALA does not provide medical, fitness, guiding, or instructional services. Any guidance offered is informal and does not replace professional advice.

6. Compliance With Rules and Laws

I agree to follow all applicable laws, park rules, posted signage, and instructions from land managers while participating in ATALA activities.

7. Media Release

I grant ATALA permission to use photographs or videos taken during events for informational or promotional purposes, unless I notify the organizers otherwise.

8. Agreement

By participating in an ATALA event, joining an ATALA-organized activity, or engaging through associated platforms (including WhatsApp or social media), I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver and release of liability.

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to this waiver on their behalf.
