Join us **every Saturday** for **team group rides and brick runs** led by one of your SBS coaches open to ALL levels! 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏼‍♂️ **Ride location/time will be updated by Thursdays each week!**

We will continue changing it up each week, occasionally join in on other group rides, and always have an easier/harder route modifications to make sure we can accommodate everyone!&#x20;

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT.
By signing below and/or registering for this ride, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in a group cycling activity hosted by South Bay Squad ("SBS") and agree to the following terms:
Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that cycling involves inherent risks of serious injury or death. These risks include, but are not limited to:
Falls and collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, or other cyclists
Equipment failure
Road surface hazards such as potholes, debris, or gravel
Weather conditions
Wildlife or dog encounters
Physical strain, dehydration, or overexertion
Inattention or misjudgment by myself or others
I understand that these risks may be caused by terrain, traffic, my own actions, or the actions of others, including other participants, and I voluntarily assume full responsibility for all such risks.
Waiver and Release
In consideration for being permitted to participate in the South Bay Squad Saturday Ride, I hereby release and hold harmless South Bay Squad, South Bay Squad Community, its coaches, organizers, members, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates ("Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, or demands of any kind — known or unknown — which may arise from my participation in this activity.
This includes claims related to negligence (but not gross negligence or intentional harm), injury, death, or property damage, whether occurring during the ride or in transit to/from the starting location.
Personal Responsibility
I certify that I am in good physical condition and able to participate in this cycling activity. I agree to:
Wear a properly fitted helmet at all times while riding
Obey all traffic laws and ride rules shared by the group
Ensure that my bike is in safe working condition
Carry personal ID and emergency contact information
Ride at my own risk and pace
Follow all posted start times, routes, and safety briefings
I understand this is a self-supported, no-road-closures ride. There are no SAG vehicles, and participation is entirely voluntary.
Medical Treatment
I consent to emergency medical care if needed and release all Released Parties from liability arising from such care.
Photography & Media Release
I grant permission to SBS and affiliated media to use any photos, video, or likeness of me taken during this event for promotional use without compensation.
Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read this waiver and understand it is a legally binding release of liability. I voluntarily agree to its terms.
