Step into a half day adventure of **movement, music, workshops, and meaningful connection** at the **Seattle Wellness Block Party**. We’re bringing the community together for an **indoor/outdoor celebration** of everything that nourishes the **mind, body, and soul**.

We’re here to change that.

The **Wellness Block Party** is more than just a gathering — it’s a movement to make healthy living **social, sexy, and accessible**. Together, we’re creating space for **connection, play, and holistic well-being.**

The Center for Suicide Awareness (CSA) is a nonprofit organization founded and led by Barb Bigalke with a mission to break the silence around suicide, provide emotional support, and build resilient communities through education, outreach, and crisis services. Known for its signature programs such as HOPELINE™, peer support, and prevention training, CSA meets people where they are - before, during, and after-crisis. Under Barb’s leadership, CSA also champions wellness divisions like *Love the Wellness*, creating spaces for healing, connection, and proactive mental health care.

WELLNESS BLOCK PARTY – PARTICIPANT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By attending or participating in the Wellness Block Party (“Event”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in activities such as yoga, movement, dance, breathwork, cold plunge, sauna, and other wellness-related offerings involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, dehydration, heat/cold exposure, emotional release, and property loss.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown, and accept full responsibility for my involvement.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Yerbana, Abundance Social Club, their owners, officers, employees, volunteers, instructors, event partners, sponsors, contractors, and venue representatives (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

3. Medical Responsibility

I certify that I am physically and mentally fit to participate, and that I will not engage in activities beyond my capability. I am responsible for monitoring my own health, hydration, and wellbeing during the Event. I understand that organizers are not providing medical advice or emergency care beyond standard first aid, and that I should consult a healthcare provider before participating if I have any medical concerns.

4. Media Release

I consent to the use of my name, image, voice, or likeness in photographs, videos, or other media recorded during the Event for promotional or educational purposes by Yerbana, Abundance Social Club, and their partners, without compensation.

5. Personal Property

I acknowledge that the organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

6. Conduct and Compliance

I agree to follow all safety instructions, event guidelines, and directions of event staff. I understand that failure to comply may result in my removal from the Event without refund.

7. Choice of Law and Venue

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in the courts of King County, Washington.

8. Severability

If any provision of this waiver is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. Acknowledgment of Understanding

By entering the Event, I acknowledge that I have read this agreement, fully understand its terms, and sign it voluntarily. I understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue the Released Parties for ordinary negligence.
