**SOMATIC** is an intentionally small, holistic experience designed to slow your body down and support nervous system regulation.

This is not a workout or a high-energy wellness event.
It’s a guided reset for people who live in their heads and want to return to their bodies.

Through **Kundalini Yoga, Reiki energy work, a guided Cacao ceremony, and a grounding Sound Bath**, you’ll be led through practices that promote release, regulation, and deep internal connection.

The environment is calm, intentional, and unrushed — allowing your system to settle and integrate naturally.

**First-Time Participants — Please Read**

Somatic includes practices such as **Kundalini Yoga, Reiki, Sound Bath, and a ceremonial cacao offering**, which may be new for some participants.

All practices are **optional and self-guided**. You’re encouraged to listen to your body, move at your own pace, and rest or step out at any time.

Ceremonial cacao is offered in a **light, intentional dose**. Participation is optional, especially if you’re pregnant, sensitive to caffeine, or have medical considerations.

Somatic and energy-based practices may bring up physical sensations or emotional awareness. This is normal, and you’re never expected to push beyond what feels safe.

Participant Waiver, Release & Assumption of Risk

By registering for and participating in Somatic: A Nervous System Reset, hosted by Solstice Collective, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that Somatic is a holistic wellness experience that may include practices such as Kundalini Yoga, breathwork, Reiki energy work, sound therapy, gentle movement, and a ceremonial cacao offering. My participation in all activities is voluntary.

2. Not Medical Care

I acknowledge that the practices offered are not medical or psychological treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. I am responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare professional regarding any concerns I may have.

3. Physical & Emotional Awareness

I understand that somatic and energy-based practices may involve physical movement, stillness, sound, touch (where applicable and consented to), and emotional awareness. I agree to listen to my body, honor my limits, and stop or modify participation at any time.

4. Cacao Acknowledgment

I understand that ceremonial cacao contains natural caffeine and other active compounds. I confirm that I am not knowingly contraindicated for cacao consumption, or I choose to opt out of cacao participation at my discretion.

5. Consent & Trauma-Informed Touch Practices

I understand that some experiences during Somatic may involve optional, non-sexual, supportive touch (such as Reiki, hands-on guidance, or assisted bodywork), which will only be offered with my explicit consent.

I acknowledge that:

I may decline or withdraw consent at any time, without explanation

Consent may be communicated verbally, non-verbally, or adjusted during the experience

Choosing not to receive touch does not affect my participation

I understand that facilitators prioritize autonomy, choice, and nervous system safety at all times.

6. Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, including but not limited to physical discomfort, emotional release, or unforeseen reactions.

7. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Solstice Collective, its founders, facilitators, partners, volunteers, and venue representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from my participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

8. Personal Responsibility

I affirm that I am participating at my own discretion and take full responsibility for my physical, emotional, and mental well-being during and after the event.

9. Media Consent 

I understand that photographs or video may be taken during the event. I grant permission for my likeness to be used for promotional purposes unless I notify the organizers in writing prior to the event.

By registering, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver.
