Our Starfish-certified instructors will guide you through essential water safety skills, floating techniques, and beginner strokes at a pace that’s comfortable for you. Whether it’s your first time in the pool or you’re looking to brush up on your skills, this class is the perfect place to start.

I understand that participating in SWIMBLK swimming activities involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to slips and falls on wet surfaces, risk of drowning or near-drowning, physical exertion that may cause injury or medical emergencies, and exposure to pool chemicals. I voluntarily assume all such risks, including those that may arise from the actions or negligence of other participants, instructors, or facility staff. I certify that I am physically fit to participate, have disclosed any medical conditions to the organizers, and will follow all safety instructions provided by Starfish-certified SWIMBLK instructors and venue staff. In consideration of being allowed to participate, I release and hold harmless SWIMBLK, its instructors, volunteers, partners, and facility hosts from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action related to my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. I also grant permission for SWIMBLK to use photographs or video recordings of me for promotional, educational, or social media purposes without compensation unless otherwise indicated in writing. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver.
