Celebrate the Spring Equinox through floral artistry and tea as we honor the earth's renewal and the perfect balance of light and dark. Ostara is linked to the Germanic goddess Ēostre, the goddess of the dawn who, according to some, represents fertility and the arrival of spring. (More on that in a moment.) The vernal equinox is about balance, renewal, and the return of the light.



## **What to Expect:**

We'll begin with a mindful tea ceremony, sampling curated herbal blends that celebrate spring awakening while setting intentions for what we want to plant and nurture in this new season. You'll learn the Victorian language of flowers and discover the hidden meanings behind roses, chrysanthemums, alstroemeria, and other spring blooms—then select flowers that speak to your intentions for renewal and growth.



Rachel will guide you through creating a beautiful arrangement to take home while sharing stories of spring traditions and seasonal symbolism with fellow participants. We'll provide materials for writing intention cards to tuck into your bouquet, making each creation a living reminder of the seeds you're planting for the season ahead.

**1:50 - 2:00 PM** - Flower Selection
Choose blooms that speak to your intentions for renewal and growth.



**2:00 - 2:45 PM** - Floral Arrangement Creation
Guided workshop to craft your intentional spring bouquet with Rachel.



**2:45 - 3:00 PM** - Sharing & Closing Circle
Share gratitude and intentions as we honor the equinox together.

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Nature of Activity

I understand that this event involves participation in a floral arrangement workshop, tea ceremony, and gathering at a private residence. Activities include handling fresh flowers, greenery, floral supplies (including scissors, floral shears, wire, and other tools), consuming food and beverages, and socializing indoors and outdoors.


2. Voluntary Participation
I am voluntarily participating in this event with knowledge of the potential risks involved. I understand that activities may take place both indoors and in an outdoor garden setting.

3. Assumption of Risks
I understand and acknowledge that participation in this event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Cuts, scratches, or punctures from floral tools, thorns, or plant materials
Allergic reactions to flowers, plants, greenery, pollen, or food items
Slips, trips, or falls on indoor or outdoor surfaces
Adverse reactions to tea or food provided
Exposure to outdoor elements (sun, weather, insects)
Risks associated with gathering in a group setting

4. Health and Allergies
I certify that I am in good physical health and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation in this event. I acknowledge my responsibility to inform the event host of any allergies (food, plants, flowers) or medical conditions that may affect my participation. I understand that light vegetarian and gluten-free bites will be served, and tea will be provided.5. COVID-19 and Illness
I agree not to attend if I am experiencing any symptoms of illness. I understand that gathering with others carries inherent health risks and I voluntarily assume these risks.

Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Renew Collective, Rachel Radcliffe, event hosts, property owners, and any volunteers or assistants (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me or any property belonging to me while participating in this event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.IndemnificationI agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including attorney fees, that may incur due to my participation in this event, whether caused by negligence of Released Parties or otherwise.

Media Release
I grant Renew Collective and Rachel Radcliffe permission to use photographs, videos, or other media taken during this event for promotional purposes on social media, websites, and marketing materials. I understand I may opt out by notifying the host in writing.

Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read this waiver and release, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
