Winter is the season of crisp days and longer nights, and turning inward. We can feel the deep, slow current of the Water element: the element associated with Winter Season according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) system. A Winter Yin practice nourishes the kidney–the source of our vitality, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine–and the urinary bladder meridians. Surrender into the longer holds and deep meditative release of Yin yoga, to stimulate connective tissues and nourish joints.&#x20;



We'll then invite ourselves in to gentle Restorative yoga postures and savor a long, restorative Savasana, soaking in the frequencies of crystal bowls, sruti box, gongs and chimes, with a sound bath and meditation from musician [Nicola Buffa](https://www.instagram.com/sourcefieldsound/?hl=en). 



Connect deeply with the water current of your own body through a sound bath designed to complement our Winter Yin Yoga practice.  All levels of yoga are welcome. In Studio Only. Space limited, sign up early!

*Owner of Dragonfly Yoga + Wellness, Suzanna has studied both Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga traditions and holds a certification in Prana Vinyasa yoga from Shiva Rea’s Samudra School, as well as training in Neelakantha Meditation and certification for Yin yoga. She has taught at many yoga studios in the East Bay; and has taught military veterans in the Polytrauma Unit of VA-PAHCS and in the Veterans Center at Las Positas College. Suzanna is Co-Director and teacher trainer for Dragonfly Yoga Teacher Training Programs. You’ll discover a devotional, meditative, breath-centered practice in her Yin classes. Suzanna is a skilled meditation instructor, and leads yoga retreats nationally and internationally.*
